*VIRTUAL* Alignment Yoga
This class will take place via Zoom. You will receive a link approximately 30 minutes before the class begins.
 
In Level 1, emphasis is on foundational poses and highly recommended for first-time yoga participants. Alignment Yoga is characterized by great attention to detail and precise focus on body alignment in the practice of asanas (postures). The practice develops strength, mobility and stability in the body, calmness in the mind, and expansion in the breath. With it's step-by-step approach, it makes use of the props such as straps, blocks, blankets and the Yoga Wall, as aids in performing the postures. This enables participants to perform the postures correctly, minimizing the risk of injury or strain and making the postures accessible to all.
