Pilates Core and Stretch
This class compliments exercise and overall well-being by releasing muscle tension, decreasing stress, reinforcing proper alignment and form, enhancing coordination and improving flexibility. You will develop core strength and coordination through these movement patterns, using correct breathing and posture. You’ll experience enhanced posture, overall toning and an overall feeling of relaxation with each session. Deborah Leshon been teaching Pilates since 1999, first trained by physical mind institute and later certified by BASI. BASI Pilates® is a leading Pilates education academy with a reputation for innovation, dedication, and academic excellence. BASI stands for Body Arts and Science International. Their mission is to create and maintain professional standards for the teaching of the Pilates Method and to preserve and perpetuate the gift of Pilates by educating teachers of the highest caliber. Deborah taught for 9 years at JMP physical therapy working with many post-surgical patients and has been in private practice for the last 6 years, working with clients ranging from teenagers to octogenarians.
