The Sweetness of Letting Go: Yin Yoga + Dessert
Feeling tight, tense or just plain stressed out? A perfect balance to any fitness routine, yin yoga focuses on holding restorative postures to help the body release tension and stress. Join illumin8 instructor and yin enthusiast, Sandi Gohn, for a 90-minute workshop designed to introduce you to the wonderful world of yin yoga and myofascial release.
ALL LEVELS WELCOME
You will move through a series of breathing exercises and restorative postures (which use props and are held for several minutes) and reap the benefits of myofascial muscle release. The class will culminate with a final guided meditation and an extended savasana, followed by a homemade sweet treat and a short, 10-minute discussion about the science and benefits behind yin yoga. You will leave feeling grounded, deeply stretched and fully renewed!
Price includes your own yin yoga blanket to use during class and take home for future use as well as a home baked dessert.
