Aqua Conditioning
Class located in the Recreation Pool.
Rethink your stereotypical ideas about working out in the water, because this class is going to be your game changer. This water workout has you working out as hard as you do on land (maybe harder!) but without the joint, muscle and tendon stress. Using a combination of water depth and aqua equipment (noodles, waist belts, water dumbbells), along with the AEAs newest rate-of-perceived-exertion scale and high intensity music, this workout allows the highest caliber athlete to reach maximum heart rate and muscle fatigue, and less conditioned individuals to get a great cardio and strength workout in their conditioning zone. This workout includes HIIT, contrast training and circuit training, and is manageable for all fitness levels thanks to modifications. If you want to build or maintain your complete body workout (aerobic, strength and flexibility) and take stress off your painful or sensitive areas, this is for you. This is a workout for all and is highly recommended for those looking to work out hard, as well as those rehabbing from injuries or taking care of chronically painful points such as knees, back, shoulders and neck. All levels welcome
