accuracy of the data collected and presented through the Fitsys Service is NOT
intended to match the grade of medical devices or scientific measurement
devices and the results should ONLY be used as a guide to accompany common
sense principles when exercising and participating in a fitness regime, within
a normal context of a fitness class. We make no endorsements, representations

WEARABLE DEVICES
Prolonged contact with
any wearable devices may contribute to skin irritation or allergies in some
users. To reduce irritation, follow four simple wear and care tips: (1) Keep it
clean; (2) keep it dry; (3) don’t wear it too tight. If symptoms persist longer
than 2-3 days after removing the device, consult your doctor immediately.
IMPACT ON PACEMEAKERS
(AND OTHER WIRELESS DEVICES)
The monitors used by
Fitsys transmit a low frequency electro-magnetic signal to the Fitsys receivers
and multiple research studies have shown that there is no known impact on
pacemakers (Joglar, JA,;Hamdan MH;
Welch, PJ; Page RL Department of Internal
Medicine, The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas
75235-9047, USA, Interaction of commercial heart rate monitor with implanted
pacemaker, National Library of Medicine, 1999), however you should consult with your physician if you have any
other inserted or otherwise devices which could be affected by low frequency
electro-magnetic signals. If you have any concerns regarding this matter,
please consult with your medical doctor before beginning or engaging in any
Fitsys activity or program.
Use of the Fitsys
Service should not replace your good judgment and common sense. Please read and
comply with all safety notices and ask questions of your Fitsys instructor.
Safety is our first concern and we will strive to make your participation
enjoyable, safe and rewarding.
