Hi – my name is Liz! I am a passionate runner as well as a yogi. I actually “stumbled upon” yoga during my first marathon training. When people started telling me that I needed to cross train and stretch more, I thought they were crazy. Then I discovered yoga, and I am SO thankful that I did. Yoga helped me recover faster than ever after runs/workouts and helped build muscle strength I never knew I could have. The best part about yoga for me was the mindfulness aspect of it – it truly is connected mind + body all in an intense workout. I went to yoga thinking it was only stretching and I couldn’t have been more wrong - these were some of the strongest people I have ever met. I now run do yoga as often as I can (preferably daily!) I truly believe yoga helped me, and continues to help me get my mindset right to push me farther, be it with running or in my day-to-day life. I hope to help you all achieve your goals as well, and reach your fullest potential!
