Mel
Mel has been a regular TDM goer up at the North Shore location for 3 years. Her passion for exercise began at the age of 15 when she first started going to cycle classes. After falling in love with the energy and inspiration that cycle classes expel, she knew that the instructor's saddle was truly where she wanted to ride. At 17, Mel began teaching the teen cycle classes at her local studio in Winnetka, then gong on to teach at the University of Iowa where she graduated in 2011, as well as in Australia where she worked running marketing campaigns for health clubs for a year. Whenever returning home, Mel's first stop is always the Dailey Method for barre and interval classes. When combined with cycle, TDM helps Mel stay flexible, strong, and aligned both physically and mentally. When she was introduced to Dailey Cycle in the city, Mel couldn't have been more thrilled her two passions were merging. Inspired by beat driven and meaningful music, Mel leads with her heart and finds reward in watching clients grow and challenge themselves. When she's out of the saddle, Mel loves spending time with friends, listening to live music, and going to Cubs games.
