Maria comes to Cyclebar having been in the area for about 5 years. She has been an athlete most of her life, but really kicked it into gear a few years back. She started with running, then lifting, then a spin class in Richmond with her sister and mom. Truth be told, it was not love at first...ride. But there was something to the energy and the music, so she came back, then again, and its been a full on love affair with cycling ever since. Maria loves the way the room fills with the energy of people pushing together. She loves to ride to the killer beats of EDM and edgy rock music, but you'll hear everything from Coldplay to Dua Lipa to Florence and the Machine and beyond in her studio.
