
Touch is very important. Feeling our bodies, listening to its messages, and acting upon this information can make a positive impact in our wellness and longevity. Massage has been found to improve circulation and immune function, decrease pain, soreness and stress as well as elevate moods and energy. Moreover, it provides time for the body to rest, be supported and safely cared for in a busy, bustling world.
In 2010, I attended the Maui School of Therapeutic Massage in Makawao, Maui. My studies are forever continuing on this foundation. Swedish and deep tissue techniques, trigger point release, myofascial stretching and Hawaiian Lomi Lomi are some strategies in each of my sessions. Subtle energy movements for relaxation also come into play for a massage that will address your present condition. I use therapeutic grade essential oils for aromatic and topical application by your consent. My intention is to facilitate your body’s own internal medicine and hold space for the healer within. Additionally, therapeutic massage can be a terrific companion to your regular yoga practice as it is for mine.
