Rich S.
Rich has been a member of Drive since 2016. His primary fitness goal is Longevity and credits the Drive Method for “keeping him in the game.” As a member, you will find Rich in all the studios, but mostly practicing yoga.

Rich brings a very diverse fitness and coaching background to Drive. In addition to his positive attitude and high energy, Rich has many different experiences and passions. Some of these include: Senior Adult Ice Hockey, US Masters Swimmer, Spartan Beast Finisher, Multiple Sprint & Olympic Distance Triathlons, and he has hiked 22 of the 48 NH 4,000 footers (including Mount Washington).

Rich has been coaching youth sports for over ten years (baseball, ice hockey, lacrosse, soccer, basketball). In addition to some town and state championships, he loves seeing
his players matriculate into high school and college sports. Several of his former players come to his yoga class when on break from school.
 
In addition to his RYT-200, Rich is also certified in SafeSport, Positive Coaching Alliance, Level 1 Women’s Lacrosse, and Level E Youth Soccer. Upon earning his RYT-200 (Feb 2023), Rich teaches mostly Power Yoga, Power to Stretch, and Slow Flow. When you take Rich’s classes, you can always count on a bright smile to greet you, a challenging practice, and a positive affirmation of your hard work after class.
