Raised in Seattle, Janae is passionate about exploring new places (particularly the outdoors) as much as possible, and using fitness to help her experience each place to its upmost potential. She strives to live as a weekend warrior and has a goal of visiting every National Park. Janae studied at the University of Southern California, focusing her research on media representations of gender, race, & ethnicity with the Annenberg Inclusion Initiative.
