Fascinated by the mind-body connection and the forces at work in the world, Vita’s curiosity has always been the driving force in her life. When she found yoga, while traveling around India during some time off from college, the practice captivated her; it was love at first asana!
 
With over 12 years of experience teaching yoga and a master’s degree in acupuncture and Chinese medicine, Vita brings a depth of knowledge about the body to her yoga classes. Her unique ability to fuse eastern and western medicine with yoga, makes for an enriching and empowering class experience.
 
Her sequencing is thoughtful and informed, combining western knowledge about anatomy, kinesiology and physiology with the eastern tradition of yoga. Vita aims to help her students gain insight into their own body and develop a mindfulness of movement to keep them supple, healthy, and strong for decades to come.
 
With a heart for the mountains, the ocean, and all of the creatures that inhabit the earth, Vita is a nature lover at her core. You’ll often find her in her garden, cooking up fresh veggies, climbing a craggy mountain peak, or daydreaming in her hammock unplugged.
 
Vita believes deeply in the power of yoga to create change, in ourselves and in the world. She is honored and overjoyed to bring you what she has learned from her endless curiosity and many years of study.
