Growing up in Sacramento, Meg spent most of her life playing sports including gymnastics, basketball and soccer. She went on to play soccer at the collegiate level where she was the team captain her sophomore year. This taught her a lot about leadership and motivating a group of people towards a common goal. Meg currently works at the MIND Institute at UC Davis where she does research in autism. Having graduated from UCSB in 2014 with a degree in Psychology, Meg’s passion for fitness and helping others has continued to develop as she coaches at FR. She believes that fitness is crucial to our physical and emotional well-being and, like sports, working out with others can lead to the strongest relationships and build tough mental fortitude. Meg makes her classes fun, motivating, and most importantly challenging because if it doesn’t challenge you it won’t change you!
