Aya is a Sacramento native. Growing up, she was involved in dance, theatre, and sports. Aya went to CSU Sacramento, and earned a master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She is currently a Licensed Mental Health Specialist at a local middle school working with at-risk students, where she also coaches the boys and girls soccer teams. Aya loves coaching because she believes playing sports is an integral part of growing up, building relationships, and having healthy lifestyle. Her passion for sports and fitness drives her to help people physically, mentally, and emotionally. Aya hopes to bring her love of dance and hip hop to each and every RhythmRide.
