Shane M.
Shane is a recently retired physical education teacher transitioning fulltime into personal training and group instruction. His certifications include Certified Fitness Trainer (International Sports Sciences Association), Certified Functional Strength Coach (Mike Boyle Strength and Conditioning), Certified Functional Aging Specialist (Functional Aging Institute), and Mind Body Specialty (American Council on Exercise). During the summer of 2015, Shane studied at Elite Fitness & Performance Academy, Dublin, and was awarded Ireland’s National Certificate in Fitness Instruction. In his experiences teaching, coaching, and training, he has enjoyed working with folks from age 5 to 85+. His approach is to carefully plan safe exercise programs that will help clients realize ongoing improvements in strength, endurance, flexibility, and agility. One of Shane’s primary goals are to work with clients to make the exercise experience as fun as possible.
