It was never my intention to become a wellness instructor, however, during a time of self-evolution, growth and transition, I found my true passion and became certified in Pilates and Yoga. I have always been interested in fitness and nutrition. After spending years in physical therapy for debilitating lower back and leg pain, I turned to pilates and yoga to help strengthen my core and gain flexibility. Becoming instantly intrigued and, perhaps at times even a little obsessed, it became my primary source of exercise. Realizing the combination of Pilates and Yoga brought such balance to my life that I wanted to share this with others. In yoga, we talk about Dharma ~ living one’s true purpose, finding your “burning desire,” or the one thing you’re meant to do in your life…I am grateful to have found my personal dharma as a wellness instructor I currently hold certifications in Yoga (500hour E-RYT Yoga Alliance), Yin Yoga, Mat Pilates, Reformer, and Barre.
