Carol Ann, E-RYT 200, was drawn to her first yoga class after years of dance training and a deep interest in holistic wellness led her there. The strength, discipline, and calm balance she found inspired her, and a sporadic practice developed over the years into a daily one. In 2013, she earned her 200 hr certification at Namaste Yoga and has been actively teaching in and around the Detroit area ever since.

With a personal practice rooted in Ashtanga, Carol Ann brings elements of that series into her teaching, combined with a dedication to alignment and building strength both within and without. She believes that yoga can be creative, safe, challenging, and nourishing all at the same time.

"I am so pleased to join the Detroit Yoga Lab family, and to once again be teaching in the heart of the city with it's truly amazing community of yogis. To me, it's about more then just showing up, it's about watching my students grow, as well as furthering my own study of yoga in order to continue to bring new inspiration to my classes".
