Hello there fellow yogi! Just by taking the time to learn more about yoga…the classes, the teachers, the philosophy…. you are beginning your very own yoga journey and I am excited to be a part of it! Yoga and I didn’t always get along. Actually, I felt so incredibly awkward in the first class I ever took, I wasn’t sure I would ever take another class again. But I did. And since that first awkward class, I have learned and grown so much that I no longer see the awkwardness as something to avoid but rather embrace. Each day, the practice of yoga helps me discover and explore a deeper sense of compassion, presence and mindfulness, it instills greater joy, gratefulness and purpose and awakens unknown patience, vulnerability and energy. But most importantly, it helps me be the best me I can be…imperfections and all! Each class has become not just a challenge for my body but an opportunity for growth of a mindful practice, lightened spirit and compassionate heart. So, whether this is your 1st class or 1000th class, I look forward to sharing this beautiful practice with you. Welcome OM!
