I've always loved group fitness as a way to exercise and be with like-minded people. I've also dabbled in running (completed several 1/2 marathons and the Ogden Marathon). The energy of participating in events is very contagious. I was introduced to Yoga because my running partner told me it would be a good stretch class. I was immediately intrigued and I completed a 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training (Yoga Alliance). Wanting others to feel the community energy, I became a Yoga Instructor ten years ago. Since then, I've taken Spinning, Stability Ball, Bosu, Tabata Bootcamp, Kettlebell, KickKamp, and most recently, Pilates Instructor courses. I care about teaching classes which are well planned, inclusive, safe, and effective. Teaching fitness classes puts me in my happy place, knowing that I am leading my students toward reaching their fitness goals!
