It wasn't until his sophomore year at UCLA that Jake Kaye was introduced to the Bruin's Novice Rowing Team. Instantly captivated by the simplicity, effectiveness, and efficiency of the rowing stroke, he found the training to be the perfect blend of both endurance and strength. Jake continued to row with the Bruin Varsity crew for another three years until graduation; along the way besting such rivals as USC, LMU, Washington State, UC Irvine, and leading the Men's Lightweight 8 to victory at the Newport Autumn Rowing Festival. Announced to the Pac 10 - All Academic team his senior year and a recent recipient of a B.A. in Ethnomusicology.
