BIO: Experience and coaching style

I was a practicing attorney for many years. I changed careers in midlife so that I could focus on what I love: helping others with their fitness and health goals. I have seen how exercise and eating well can help with depression, anxiety and self-esteem as well as everyday tasks in life. Now I’m a personal trainer at Rock Creek Sports Club and I run my own fitness and health coaching business called wellnessforwomen.com. I love pushing my clients to get stronger in a safe way while also laughing and having fun. Since 2010, I’ve also taught fitness, cooking and wellness in weekly classes to homeless women at N Street Village in DC. I believe that exercise and healthy eating can help us all learn to feel good in our one-of-a-kind bodies, feel strong in our everyday activities and feel more balanced in life.
