Fitness Philosophy: There are no general workouts. Make it personal, make it enjoyable, make it sustainable. Fitness starts within.
Favorite workout: Anything that mimics manual labor.
I've been a professional dancer, starting dance at age 3. The plan was to earn a degree in dance. The more I instructed, performed, choreographed and shared a stage with others, I noticed flaws in the physical conditioning, rehabilitation and general well-being of my fellow performers and athletes. I moved into the world of exercise sciences and saw the same patterns in the general public. My style has since evolved into fun, exciting, workouts with emphasis on form, alignment, skill acquisition, functional movement, injury prevention and an intensity that increases with your fitness levels. The goal is to create bigger goals! But we "can't build houses on unstable foundations.”
I have a background in dance, group fitness, sport conditioning and physical therapy, and three years experience as a physical therapy technician and clinic trainer.
