Favorite personal workout: A round of cardio on the elliptical followed by working with the Pilates Reformer, Tower, and step barrel.
Bio: Caren has been a yoga and Pilates instructor since retiring from her career in marketing communications management in 2017. She has completed training and certifications for mat Pilates, Reformer and Tower Pilates through the Balanced Body Education program and is a 200-hour certified yoga instructor. Through the Rock Creek Sports Club and Balanced Fitness Studios, she recently completed Balanced Athlete training. Caren enjoys connecting with members and is conscientious about individual needs. Humor is part of her teaching style, and she encourages students not only to pay attention to correct alignment, but to relax in the moment and laugh at themselves.
Certifications: E-RYT-200 Yoga; National Pilates Certification Program and Balanced Body certified for Pilates Comprehensive: Mat, Reformer, Chair, Barrels and Tower; Balanced Athlete I certification.
