Bio: I fell in love with Spinning when I began taking Ingrid Martin's classes, over a decade ago. She inspired me to become an instructor, and while I've developed my own style of teaching over the years, much of that style is Ingrid-inspired. I believe that fitness should be fun, and see myself as more of a cheerleader than a drill instructor when teaching. I believe that exercise should never feel like a punishment, and that it is important to recognize how fortunate we are to be well enough to exercise. I emphasize strength and high intensity intervals over steady state cardio in my Spin classes. I feel that the music should always match the choreography of each track, and anytime I ask the class to increase intensity, I like to tell them exactly how long the interval will last. Last but not least, I like to work HARD during my classes; I have never been the type to teach off the bike, and am always striving to get the best workout I can while also providing the best workout possible to the members!
