Fitness Philosophy: Pick something you enjoy, whether it is walking, strength training, or yoga, because then you will stay with it and perhaps get curious about other forms of movement. Do something that involves moving your body, even for 15 minutes daily.

Favorite Personal Workout: Skiing! Spinning followed by a yoga class & functional strength training.

As a child I wanted to be a fitness instructor, but ended up working in the corporate world for many years. I finally returned to my passion of fitness 20 years ago and became a certified personal trainer and spinning instructor. I emphasize my fitness coaching on form and functional training with the goal for my clients to continue their fitness programs throughout their lives. However always listen to your body and its needs because what you did 20 years ago may not be appropriate for your body today.

In 2009 I was introduced to Life Coaching through one of my clients, leading me to become a certified Executive/Leadership Coach. I now divide my time between personal training, instructing indoor cycling, coaching, and my family! I am passionate about all these areas and believe in the interrelations of a healthy mind with a healthy functional body, for a balanced life. As a side notes my first book was published in September 2017, “The Boarding School Girls: Developmental and Cultural Narratives” and I are presently working on my second book.
