Krista M.
Hometown: Concord, California
Fitness Philosophy: My fitness and yoga philosophy are mindfulness. Whether working in a H.I.I.T. practice a spin practice, or a yoga practice, I believe in practicing mindfulness in all that we do.
Favorite Personal Workout: Long bike rides with my husband and kids and Yoga Hikes.
I started working in the fitness industry as a group exercise instructor in 2007, when my kids were little. I began teaching spin, and later added weight training classes and yoga. Seeing people grow, change, and become physically and mentally stronger, has been rewarding work.
My coaching style is one of encouragement….I don’t do yelling. Whether it is a Balanced Athlete, H.I.I.T., or spin practice, I will deliver it with a smile on my face.. I encourage you to push yourself but believe in the wisdom of your own body, and in the importance of listening to it. I strongly believe that you as an athlete know your own body and should always train at your own level.
I will encourage you to do your best, to try your hardest, and to let go of things that do not serve you.
Certifications:
Yoga Alliance RYT200
Balanced Athlete Level 1 and 2
Madd Dog Spinning
